The Revenue Commissioners has published settlements with tax defaulters worth a total of €20m for the first three months of 2008.

There were 30 settlements totalling €8.1m relating to the Revenue's investigation into single premium insurance products.
Six settlements worth €1.55m were for people holding bogus non-resident accounts.
25 settlements worth €5.1m were made with people who had been holding funds offshore.
The biggest single defaulter on the list was publican Seamus Delaney of Kilkenny city. He made a settlement of €1.3m.
