A truck bomb that ripped through the home of a senior police officer in Baghdad killed at least 11 people and wounded 43.
A truck bomb that ripped through the home of a senior police officer in Baghdad killed at least 11 people and wounded 43.
The bomb targeted a commander involved in joint operations with the army in the capital.
At least eight other homes in the neighbourhood collapsed from the force of the blast.
The attack in the al-Shab neighbourhood came as another bomb attack against police in the Salaheddin province killed four policemen, including an officer.
