PSNI probes bingo hall robbery

Detectives in Armagh are hunting three armed robbers who stole a large sum of cash from a bingo hall.

Detectives in Armagh are hunting three armed robbers who stole a large sum of cash from a bingo hall.

The masked men, brandishing a handgun or a hammer, threatened staff at the premises in Dobbin Street before leaving with the money.

The incident happened shortly before 11.30pm last night.

The PSNI said all three men were 1.5m (5'10'') tall and wore balaclavas.

The first man had fair hair and wore blue jeans and a blue/grey hoodie, the second man was wearing similar clothing, while the third had a navy hoodie.

No customers were in the hall at the time and no one was injured in the attack.
