Former EU Commissioner Peter Sutherland and former Taoiseach Garret FitzGerald joined Enda Kenny this morning in calling for a Yes vote in next month's Lisbon referendum.
Speaking in Dublin Mr Sutherland acknowledged that the debate in Ireland has been uninspiring and negative but that the No camp have been using arguments that are palpably false.
Enda Kenny said a Yes vote would ensure that the next generation would be part of a stronger Europe and would safeguard our ability to attract inward investment.
