A man in his 30s has been killed following a road accident in Co Leitrim.
The crash happened at 9pm last night on the R201, the main Carrick-on-Shannon to Mohill road.
The local man died when his motorcycle was involved in a collision with a jeep on a section of the road in the Dromdoo townland.
The entire section of the road from the N4 junction to Mohill was closed pending an investigation.
The road was not expected to reopen until midday and diversions were in place.
