Man remanded over Limerick killing

An 18-year-old charged with the murder of Mark Moloney in Limerick has been further remanded in custody until 29 April.

An 18-year-old man charged with the murder of Mark Moloney in Limerick 10 days ago has been further remanded in custody until 29 April.

Stephan O'Sullivan, of Galtee View in O'Malley Park in Southill, was charged with the murder of 40-year-old Mark Moloney at South Claughan Road in Garryowen in Limerick.

He is also charged with the reckless discharge of a firearm at a house in O'Malley Park on the same date.

He was remanded in custody by consent for a further two weeks.

During the brief hearing Mr O'Sullivan complained to the court of being locked up for 23 hours a day.
