A 19-year-old man has been charged with the murder of Desmond Kimmins in Drogheda last December.
Mr Kimmins was stabbed on 30 December 2007 in the Rathmullen Park Estate.
Keith Cunningham, from Halpins Terrace in Drogheda, was charged with his murder at Drogeda District Court this afternoon.
A charge of assaulting Mr Kimmins and causing him harm was withdrawn.
The case against Mr Cunningham was adjourned to Cloverhill District Court on 17 April when a book of evidence is expected to be served.
