Two men have been arrested at Dublin Port after 31,000 cigarettes with a value if €11,500 were seized.
The men were arrested by officers from Revenue's customs service in Dublin Port and are from Romania and are aged 36 and 19 years.
The 36-year-old man has appeared in court where bail has been set at €6000 while the other man is due to appear later today.
The cigarettes were recovered when customs officers searched a bus after it disembarked from a car-ferry. The bus was also detained.
Cigarettes were found in luggage and hidden behind a panel on the bus.
