An 81-year-old man has been killed in a raod accident in Co Galway.
The pedestrian was fatally injured after being struck by a van.
The incident happened on Creggs Road in Glenamaddy at around 9.50pm last night.
Separately, the victim of Friday's crash in Co Armagh has been named.
49-year-old Anthony Doyle from Drumconrath, Co Meath, died when his vehicle was in collision with a truck on the Castleblaney Road in Keady.
The accident occurred just 6km from Castleblaney, close to the Monaghan border.
The PSNI is appealing for witnesses and are asking anyone who was on the road at the time to contact them.
