Two men seriously injured in Dublin

Two men have been taken to hospital with serious injuries following an incident in Drimnagh in Dublin.

Two men in their 20s have been taken to hospital with serious injuries following an incident on Benbulben Road in Drimnagh in Dublin.

It is understood they have stab wounds to the head and have been taken to St James's Hospital.

The two Polish nationals were injured following an altercation with three other people at 6.50pm this evening.

The scene has been preserved for a technical examination.

Gardaí are investigating the incident and are appealing for witnesses.
