Two men have been killed in separate road accidents in Northern Ireland.

A man has died in Co Tyrone following an accident on the main Belfast to Enniskillen road near Dungannon.

The man was the driver of a car that was in collision with a lorry close to Killeshill crossroads shortly after 12pm.

He was taken to Craigavon Area Hospital. Police are appealing for witnesses.  

A man who died in this morning's road accident in Co Derry has been named as Connor O'Neil from Shantallow in Derry.

The 19-year-old was the driver of a car which collided with a truck on the main Derry to Belfast road just after 7am.

The accident happened close to the Claudy turnoff.

The vehicles were travelling in opposite directions at the time of the crash.
