Telephone service has been restored to the vast majority of the 26,000 Dublin customers affected by today's outage.
Telephone service has been restored to the vast majority of the 26,000 customers in the Dublin 2 and Dublin 4 areas affected by today's outage.
Service was restored about 6pm.
Today's incident was a result of a power outage that affected the Beggar's Bush exchange in Dublin 2. The outage caused severe disruption to residential and business customers in Dublin 2 and parts of Dublin 4.
There was severe disruption to service beginning at 12.40pm this afternoon.
