Two die as a result of NI crashes

Two people have died after separate road accidents in Northern Ireland.

A 71-year-old woman was killed in an accident in Loughview Gardens in Coalisland, Co Tyrone.

The woman has been named as Miriam Helena Holmes who was from the Coalisland area.

Separately, a 73-year-old man has died in hospital three days after he was injured in a road accident in east Belfast.

The man has been named as Frederick Shields from Bangor in Co Down.
