A survey by the Samaritans found that more than 80% of workers had been bullied during their careers.

The study of 2,100 UK workers and 500 from Ireland found that managers, clients and customers were most responsible for the bullying, with younger staff the most vulnerable.

Samaritans spokesman Joe Ferns said the report showed that there were workplace issues to be tackled.
