A 25-year-old man was today charged with assault after two people plunged three metres onto rocks on the Co Down coast.
The man and woman suffered head and facial injuries after falling off Kircubbin's Shore Road in the early hours of Saturday morning.
A sea wall failed to prevent the fall.
A third man sustained facial injuries.
The accused is to appear at Ards Magistrates' Court on 4 February charged with causing grievous bodily harm.
