Michael Lynn, who is being investigated by the Law Society, has changed his legal representation for the second time, the High Court heard today.
The court also heard that a computer server relating to one of Mr Lynn's property companies was removed from his office after the Law Society had begun its investigation.
The President of the High Court, Mr Justice Richard Johnson, was told that Mr Lynn's current solicitor, Sean Sexton, had been informed that Mr Lynn would be instructing a new solicitor.
Mr Lynn is due to be cross-examined on Wednesday and Thursday in the High Court over six properties, including his current home in Sandymount and the €5.5m house he bought in Howth.
He will also be asked about documents he submitted to the court, which the Law Society has described as inadequate.
Mr Lynn's lawyers asked the court to adjourn the cross-examination. They said they had received documents on Thursday and Friday and wanted time to consider them, but the Law Society opposed this application.
