At least 60,000 Dublin commuters are facing a fourth day of having to find alternative transport as a result of a dispute at Harristown bus depot.
Unions and management at Dublin Bus are now waiting to hear if the Labour Court can suggest a way forward to end the three-day dispute.
SIPTU, the NBRU and Dublin Bus management held separate exploratory talks at the Labour Court this morning.
It is understood that there was little sign of progress during the discussions.
Leaving the Labour Court, SIPTU's Branch Manager at Dublin Bus, Willie Noone said that he was still hopeful that progress could be made.
Gerry Maguire of Dublin Bus said the talks had been frank and open.
Earlier today, around 300 bus drivers from the Harristown bus depot, which services the north and west of the city, protested outside the headquarters of Dublin Bus in O'Connell Street.
The drivers have been on strike since Monday, when one of their colleagues was suspended for refusing to operate a new route.
The dispute centres on where drivers start, break and finish their shifts.
