Gardaí say a small fire broke out in a sheltered accommodation centre on Prosperity Square, Barrack Street in Cork this evening.
Gardaí say a small fire broke out in a sheltered accommodation centre on Prosperity Square, Barrack Street in Cork this evening.
Staff and residents were evacuated and one woman has been taken to Cork University Hospital.
Her condition is described as stable.
The remaining 10 residents have been taken to St Mary's Orthopaedic Hospital where they will spend the night and alternative accommodation will be found for them tomorrow.
