Aer Lingus pilots are meeting to consider the terms of the agreement brokered at the Labour Relations Commission regarding the establishment of the new base in Belfast.
A threatened work stoppage was averted this morning after more than 20 hours of talks at the LRC.
Negotiators for both management and unions are recommending the deal, which is now subject to a ballot by the pilots.
The meeting is taking place in the ALSAA sports centre in Dublin Airport tonight.
The agreement also provides a framework for the opening of future bases on local terms and conditions, according to Aer Lingus.
As he left the talks, LRC Chairman Kieran Mulvey said it was up to both sides to consider the proposals.
Aer Lingus Chief Executive Dermot Mannion said he was delighted with the outcome of the talks, particularly for passengers.
And the Assistant General Secretary of IMPACT, Michael Landers, said on balance it was a deal which could be recommended to its members.
