McRae's helicopter crashes in Scotland

A helicopter belonging to the Scottish rally driver, Colin McRae has crashed near his home in Scotland.

Strathclyde Police have said that they were unable to confirm how many people were on board the aircraft when it went down this afternoon at Jerviswood, about a mile north of Lanark. 

Two people are thought to have died.

Colin McRae won the World Rally Championship drivers' title in 1995 and is from a well-known motor- racing family in Scotland.
