A 32-year-old man has appeared at Kilmainham District Court on two charges of assault causing harm following a stabbing in Ballyfermot in Dublin over the weekend.
Alan Nolan, 28, was killed and another man was injured in the incident.
Judge Patrick McMahon remanded Martin Toland of Walkinstown Park in Dublin in custody with consent to bail on condition that he stays away from an individual injured in the incident and signs on daily at Crumlin Garda station.
He will also have to provide an independent surity of €3000 and his own bond of €200.
He is due to appear again at Cloverhill Court on Friday morning.
