A 27-year-old Dublin man has been remanded in custody, charged in connection with an armed robbery in Cork city earlier this week.
Gavin Martin, with an address at Cois Coille, Loughlinstown Drive, Loughlinstown, Co Dublin, was brought before a special sitting of Cork District Court last night.
He was charged with the robbery of €2,700 from two female members of staff at Leeside Leisure in Cork on 30 August.
Mr Martin is due in court again next Wednesday.
