Climate change protestors have taken their campaign to the centre of London.
Early this morning several demonstrators from the Heathrow climate camp glued themselves to glass doors at the Department of Transport in central London.
Police and paramedics removed the environmental activists, but no arrests were made.
The protestors are opposed to the expansion of Heathrow airport, which they believe would increase global warming if given the go ahead.
The campaigners said today that they have drawn up a list of targets for 'direct action' over the weekend, which include a bank and the airport operator BAA.
They are also planning to target air freight operations and the unfinished fifth terminal at Heathrow.
Some 800 protestors are involved with more expected to arrive for the planned 24-hours of action, which is scheduled from midday on Sunday.
