The Cunningham family from Fairhill in Cork city have said that winning the record lotto jackpot of over €16m is a dream come true.
The family arrived at the National Lottery Headquarters in Dublin at around lunchtime today to claim their prize.
In a statement read out by the family's solicitor, David McCoy, Paul and Helen Cunningham said that they plan to keep their feet on the ground and are looking forward to getting back to normal.
They were joined by their five children and a number of relatives when they collected their record winnings.
The family said that they will not be giving interviews to the media and spoke only through their solicitor.
The Cunningham family are the winners of the largest jackpot in the history of the National Lottery.
