An elderly woman has been killed in a road accident in Co Tipperary while a 42-year-old man died in Co Galway last night when his tractor overturned near Tuam.
Gardaí in Nenagh, Co Tipperary are investigating a single vehicle traffic collision in which the woman died.
The accident occurred at 11.15am this morning and the deceased is believed to be in her 80's.
She was the driver of a car, which is believed to have struck a ditch at Ballythomas, Ardcroney, Nenagh, Co Tipperary.
Last night a 42-year-old man died in a road accident in Co Galway.
The man was driving a tractor, which overturned in Newtown, Abbeyknockmoy, near Tuam.
The accident occurred at 11.20pm last night.
