Fianna Fáil TD Mattie McGrath has appeared before Clonmel Circuit Court in relation to charges of assault causing harm and violent disorder.
Fianna Fáil TD Mattie McGrath has appeared before Clonmel Circuit Court in relation to charges of assault causing harm and violent disorder.
The South Tipperary TD is denying the charges, which relate to an alleged incident which took place in Newcastle, Co Tipperary, in August 2006.
The court heard that the trial, which also involves five other men, will take at least two weeks to complete and the matter is being adjourned to November.
