Six Canadian soldiers serving with the NATO-led force in Afghanistan have been killed in an explosion.

Six Canadian soldiers serving with the NATO-led force in Afghanistan have been killed in an explosion.

The soldiers were travelling with their Afghan interpreter, who was also killed, when their vehicle was struck by an improvised explosive device.

The soldiers were southwest of Kandahar City.
