The Scottish First Minister, Alex Salmond, is in Belfast for talks with Ian Paisley and Martin McGuinness.

The meeting could be the beginning of a new relationship between Scotland and Northern Ireland.

It is believed that Belfast and Edinburgh are keen to press Westminster for greater autonomy in areas such as corporation tax.

Mr Salmond, 52, became First Minister in the Scottish parliament after the SNP was returned as the largest party in last month's elections.
