NATO concern over Putin's treaty threat

NATO countries have expressed concern about Russia's threat to suspend its commitment to an arms treaty, which limits conventional forces in Europe.

President Vladimir Putin announced the plan yesterday in an address to the Russian people.

He condemned the US decision to create anti-missile systems in eastern Europe, warning that they threaten global security.
