140 jobs to be created in Donegal

The Minister for Agriculture and Food has announced the creation of 140 new jobs at two separate companies in Co Donegal.

The Minister for Agriculture and Food, Mary Coughlan, has announced the creation of 140 new jobs at two separate companies in Co Donegal.

Pramerica Systems Ireland Ltd is to create 70 new jobs.

The company, based in Letterkenny, is expanding its services centre and positions in software development, financial services, as well as its call centre, will have to be filled.

The firm, which is a subsidiary of Prudential Financial, said there will also be added capacity to recruit an additional 80 personnel.

In Burnfoot, a €6m investment by E&I Engineering Ireland will result in 67 new jobs in engineering and research and development.

The company specialises in bespoke switchgear and electrical distribution products for the international construction market.
