Industrial action at Liebherr Container Cranes in Killarney remains suspended pending the outcome of talks under the auspices of the Labour Relations Commission in Dublin tomorrow.

Last week, SIPTU and management met locally to try to iron out problems over pensions and changes in work practices which led to an overtime ban introduced on 13 March and several one-day stoppages at the plant.

Liebherr employs 450 people and is one of the biggest employers in south Kerry.
