Petrol bombs thrown at Crossmaglen barracks

Up to 20 petrol bombs were thrown at Crossmaglen barracks in south Armagh in the early hours of this morning.

Automatic gunfire was also reported to have been heard north of the village.

There has been unrest in the area since last Sunday when emergency services rescuing passengers in a downed army helicopter came under attack from an angry mob.
