President arrives in Milan on European tour

The President, Mary McAleese, has arrived in Milan on the second leg of her visit to Belgium, Italy and the Holy See.

Shortly after her arrival, the President was given a private viewing of Leonardo Da Vinci's famous painting 'The Last Supper'.

Tonight she will attend a trade dinner hosted by the Irish Ambassador to Italy Seán Ó hUiginn.
