Knock Airport speaks on military flights issue

The Board of Ireland West Airport at Knock has sought to clarify its position on the possibility of military flights.

In a statement this evening, the Airport Board said it would only ever consider facilitating military flights on humanitarian and ethical grounds.

It said such flights would also have to have the support of both the Government and the United Nations.
