Gardaí are seeking assistance from the public in relation to the sudden death of a man at Collins Avenue, Southill, Limerick.
The incident happened on Saturday night at 7.50pm.
His body was removed to Limerick Regional Hospital for a post mortem. Foul play was ruled out.
The man is described as being aged between 55 and 65 years of age about 1.75m (5'9") in height with grey receding hair.
He was wearing a green knitted jumper over a green Ireland jersey, blue jeans and black Nike mountain boots.
Gardaí in Roxboro are appealing for information about the man's identity and for anybody who was in the Collins Avenue area at around 7.50pm on Saturday night to contact them at 061-214340.
