Two Irish men found guilty of smuggling drugs into Britain have been jailed for a total of 34 years.

44-year-old Vincent Gerard Sweeney, who has an address in Ballytivnan, Sligo, was sentenced to 16 years imprisonment while Robert McGowan, 38, from Cartron Estate, Sligo, was given a 18-year sentence.
