418 suspected drink driving cases

Figures have been released by gardaí showing that 418 suspected drink driving cases have been recorded so far over the Bank Holiday weekend.

The highest number of incidents recorded was 110, between midnight and 1pm yesterday.

The garda operation will continue until midnight tonight.
