Gardaí have arrested 263 people on suspected drink driving offences so far this weekend.
The arrests were made since Friday as part of a Bank Holiday safety operation.
The garda operation will continue until midnight tomorrow.
The gardaí are reminding motorists that if they are planning to drink over the Bank Holiday break to use a nominated non-drinking driver or to avail of public transport.
