DUP leader Ian Paisley is making a direct appeal to party supporters today to give their verdict on the St Andrews Agreement which is aimed at restoring power-sharing to Northern Ireland by next March.
The party has published a four-page paper on the deal, which is being circulated in today's Belfast Telegraph.
In the paper Dr Paisley argues that unionists must weigh up the advances made during the talks in Scotland last month against what would happen if they rejected the deal.
However, the party document will also insist that the DUP needs progress on a number of issues before devolution can be restored.
Securing a mechanism in the Stormont Assembly to ensure parties who break their ministerial obligations are punished without the entire power-sharing government being affected is among the issues the document has highlighted.
