Man questioned after Co Cork drugs seizure

A man in his 20s is being questioned after a Garda Drugs Squad detective seized 30,000 ecstasy tablets near Macroom in Co Cork yesterday afternoon.

The drugs have an estimated street value of €300,000. The man is from the Mallow area.

He was arrested after gardaí stopped his car in the Coachford area.

A substantial amount of cash was also seized during the operation.
