Síle de Valera has said she will resign from her position as Minister of State at the Department of Education and Science on 8 December.
Síle de Valera has said she will resign from her position as Minister of State at the Department of Education and Science on 8 December.
Ms de Valera said she had written to the Taoiseach informing him of the date for her departure.
In a statement she said that the decision followed her suggestion to the Taoiseach late last year that she step down this December, as she will not be running for re-election next year.
