Amnesty International has accused the authorities in the Democratic Republic of Congo of not doing enough to release, protect and re-integrate child soldiers into civilian society.
The country's civil war from 1998 to 2003 drew in six foreign armies and claimed more than three million lives.
In a new report, the London-based human rights group criticised the interim power-sharing administration.
The report said its disarmament and demobilisation programme was failing to meet the needs of traumatised children.
