Ryanair will lodge an objection with Fingal County Council to the planned second terminal at Dublin Airport.

Chief Executive Michael O'Leary said this morning that the airline would be opposing any attempted increase in passenger charges.

Mr O'Leary claimed the Dublin Airport Authority could not be trusted to build 'efficient low-cost facilities'.

Ryanair has written to the Dublin Airport Authority offering to build a new terminal at a cost of €250m.
