Racing star Lindsay killed in Co Dublin crash

The Irish motorcycle racer, Darran Lindsay, has been killed in a practice race at Killalane Road Races in Skerries in north Co Dublin.

The Irish motorcycle racer, Darran Lindsay, has been killed in a practice race at Killalane Road Races in Skerries in north Co Dublin.

It is believed the crash, which happened yesterday evening, involved at least one other motorbike.

The 34-year-old racer from the village of Dundrod in Co Antrim was a former Ulster Grand Prix winner and four-times Irish champion.

He is survived by his wife and three children.
