Dell recalling 4m laptop batteries

Dell Computers has said Irish customers will be affected by the company's decision to recall more than four million of its laptop computer batteries.
The batteries, which are manufactured by Sony, are being recalled because of a risk of fire.
They were placed in laptops shipped between April 2004 and July 2006.

Dell said it was aware of six cases since December when the batteries overheated or caught fire.
