Gardaí are investigating the death of an elderly man at an apartment complex in Dublin city centre.

Just before midday emergency services were called to the sheltered accommodation where the man lived.
The Assistant State Pathologist, Doctor Michael Curtis, has carried out a preliminary examination of the scene and a post mortem is due to be conducted later.
