Hundreds of thousands of supporters of the Mexican presidential candidate, Andrés Manuel López Obrador, are demanding a recount of the votes cast in this month's presidential election.
A demonstration in Mexico City was the second largest protest to be held in the city since Mr López Obrador narrowly lost the vote.
He alleged that there was electoral fraud and called for a manual recount and told supporters he vowed to start civil resistance to force a recount.
