Diver in custody over intimidation

John Diver, the man acquitted this week on a charge of murdering his wife nine years ago, has been remanded in custody charged with intimidating a person.

John Diver, the man acquitted this week on a charge of murdering his wife nine years ago, has been remanded in custody charged with intimidating a person.

Mr Diver, 65, who has an address at Kilnamanagh Road in Walkinstown in Dublin, will appear again in court in two weeks' time.

Earlier this week, he was found not guilty by a jury at the Central Criminal Court of the murder of his wife in 1996.
