Threat of terror not lessened: UK

A committee of the British parliament says it believes the danger of international terrorism has not been lessened by the military operations in Afghanistan and Iraq and may well have increased.

A committee of the British parliament says it believes the danger of international terrorism has not been lessened by the military operations in Afghanistan and Iraq and may well have increased. 

The report says the Al-Qaeda remains an extremely serious threat and will become much harder to combat in the result of changes in the way it operates

The committee's chairman, Mike Gapes, said the invasion of Iraq had aided international terrorists in a number of ways.
