Support for Fianna Fáil has declined again, according to the latest opinion poll, and the party faces an uphill struggle to retain seats in the General Election due next year.
After a pretty disastrous month, between the statutory rape crisis, the leadership row in the PDs, and backbench unrest in Fianna Fáil, many in the Government parties were expecting a major dip in public support.
Support for Fianna Fáil is down one point to 34%.
Fine Gael support is unchanged at 26%, while potential coalition partners Labour are down two at 12%.
Sinn Féin support, at 9%, is up one point, as are the Greens at 7%.
PD support is unchanged at 3%, while Independents and others are up one at 9%.
This month also saw the death of former Taoiseach Charles Haughey, and much debate about his legacy.
This poll shows opinion is almost evenly split - 43% believe the good he did outweighs the bad, 41% believe the opposite, and 16% said they didn't know.
